This Saturday September 19, 2009
Starting this Saturday from 10:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. we will be having a community clean up day. We plan on sweeping out all the stairwells top to bottom. We will also be taking down the light covers in the carports and washing them off. We'll also use this time as we walk around the property to pick up any litter.
We would love to see you for part or all of the time on Saturday morning. If you have a bucket and/or broom we would appreciate if you could bring it out with you. We'll see you Saturday!

August 13, 2009 Board Meeting
Ben Jones has moved. Board is looking to appoint someone to take the vice pres. position, that is now open.
There have been some misunderstandings on the watering issues. There are zones and sections within each zone. So the water may sound like it is on in the same place but it is a different section within each of the zones.
Landscaping advice to make things better.
Cleaning of light fixtures and entry ways. All residents will be invited to participate.
For Sale and Rent signs need to be placed in appropriate places.
Rental policy and waiting list to be written and enforced.
Items such as towels or anything should not be hung over balconies.
Trash needs to be put into the bins, boxes etc. need to be broken down. DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS OUTSIDE OR AROUND THE TRASH BINS. Make sure trash bin lids are closed.
Cars not being moved for long periods of time need to be checked to see who owns them and taken care of.
Birds in drier vent will be taken care of.
We would like to start having quarterly meetings for all homeowners to attend if they wish to do so.

July 9, 2009 Countryside Square Board Meeting 6pm

- Bird issue- get bids on cleaning and recovering the drier vents
- Landscaping. Ben was to talk with Eyre Landscaping about the following
o Weeding

o Tree and bushes trimming
o Change locks on sprinkler box
- Getting bids on repainting swings- maybe take them away to get them paint and return them when done.
- Carport lights need cleaning and light bulbs outside- should have at least 2 lit all the time.
- Pavilion calendar is done get another slider thing for bottom
- Update map with names and phone #s- Esther will work on it and get with Becky

-Against designation of the strip of land in the NE corner parking are of the property to be used as an unfenced dog run.

CSCA Management Business
-Apology for not getting the flags up for flag day. We will make sure that the flags will be up on all appropriate holidays.
-Find out what needs to be done to refinish the swings in the common area. Then set a date for making sure the repair happens.
-Need to purchase and post a no smoking sign at the entrance to the complex.
- Contact landscaping to get the sprinklers reset to conserve water usage. In the meantime turn sprinklers off.
-Remind landscapers about trimming bushes back. Especially in areas that block visibility of entrances to buildings.
-A rental policy draft for the property will be written and reviewed by next meeting.
-Holding a separate meeting to start cleaning up the rules that are contradictory or confusing. Tentatively Saturday June 27.
-Purchasing a tool to clean out the dryer vents where birds are currently nesting.
-Set a recurring monthly date for standard maintenance issues around the property. Lights, clean up, etc. Perhaps the same Saturday every month. Homeowners would be welcome to come and pitch in if available.
-Welcome Letter-We will try to make sure someone from CSCA management has a face to face with each new home owner. Get name and phone number.
-Review Orem City's occupancy rules. Our community needs to be in compliance with these rules.
-Remind homeowners and renters that you can't have an unleashed animal on the property.

Upcoming Board Meeting
Dear Homeowners,
We met as a board for the first time this past Saturday May 30, 2009. We discussed each board member’s responsibilities and talked about things we want to accomplish this upcoming year. I'm so excited to be working with these four fantastic people.
We have officially asked Becky Haynie to continue to act as the Assistant Treasurer for our association. We feel that her 6 years of experience as a board member will make her an invaluable asset.

The blog www.countrysidesquare.blogspot.com is now where we will be post all Condo Association information. If you do not have access to the internet or for any reason would like to continue to receive a hard copy of posted information please contact myself or any other member of the board and we will make sure that you receive that information.

6:00 p.m.
Countryside Square Pavilion
The first 10 minutes of the meeting will be set aside for homeowner questions or concerns. If you have an item you would like to present to the board you may submit it in writing no later than 10 days prior to the board meeting. It can be turned in to box A. Or you may email it to countrysidesquarepres@gmail.com. For this month all items must be submitted no later than June 08, 2009.
Depending on the volume of responses we receive for any given month we may not have time for every item. Everyone who submits something will receive a response from the board. We will let you know no later than 3 days before the meeting if your item is scheduled for the current meeting or if, due to time constraints, it will be presented at the next month’s meeting.
All future board meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month. This means that July's board meeting is scheduled for July 09, 2009 at 6:00 pm. If we ever have need to change the date or time of any board meeting you will be given enough notice to be able to have your homeowner items turned in by the 10 day cut off.
We are looking forward to hearing from you with any ideas, questions or concerns that will help us to improve our complex and make it the very best it can be.

Welcome to the new Blog
To All Homeowners of
I want to introduce myself to you as the new Condo Association President for the 2009-2010 year. I’m looking forward to working with many of you and in serving our community this upcoming year.
I want to express my appreciation for all the hard work and service that our outgoing board has provided. We will work hard to maintain the standards they have set.
It’s important that the board have a free flow of information communicated back to you, the homeowner. In order to facilitate this I have started an association blog: www.countrysidesquare.blogspot.com.
Information about upcoming meetings, voting results, notices, etc. will be found on this site. Additionally, the minutes for all board meetings will be published here as well. Our first meeting as a board will be held shortly. Please check the blog for further details and information.
